SALT LAKE CITY (September 23, 2013) – Emmy Award-winning composers Kurt Bestor and Sam Cardon along with Top 10 Billboard singer Hilary Weeks and music director and producer Tyler Castleton will serve as expert judges at the National Anthem auditions for the 2013-14 Utah Jazz season. Tryouts will take place from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. on Oct. 4 at EnergySolutions Arena. Audition order is organized on a first-come, first-served basis.

SALT LAKE CITY (September 25, 2013) – The Utah Jazz announced today that the team has signed free-agent veterans forward Mike Harris, guard Scott Machado and forward Dominic McGuire. Per team policy, financial terms were not released. All three players will join the Jazz prior to next week’s training camp at Zions Bank Basketball Center. Following the three additions, Utah’s roster now stands at 16 players.

SALT LAKE CITY (September 25, 2013) – The Utah Jazz announced today that the team has waived guard Jerel McNeal. Following the move, Utah’s roster now stands at 13 players.

McNeal (6-3, 200, Marquette), whose first name is pronounced Jah-rell, was originally signed by the Jazz to a 10-day contract on March 27 from the NBA Development League’s Bakersfield Jam, then signed for the remainder of the 2012-13 season on April 6. McNeal did not appear in a game for the Jazz.

SALT LAKE CITY (September 12, 2013) – Utah Jazz fans will have their first opportunity to see the 2013-14 squad when the team holds its annual intrasquad scrimmage at EnergySolutions Arena on Saturday, October 5 at 4 p.m. MT. The free event is open to the public (no tickets required). Doors will open at 3:15 p.m. Jazz radio broadcaster David Locke will hold a brief Q&A on the court with each individual Jazz player so that fans can "meet the team." The scrimmage will begin immediately after the interview session.

SALT LAKE CITY (September 10, 2013) – The Utah Jazz announced today the radio and television broadcast schedule for the team’s 2013-14 season. The Jazz’s official television partner, ROOT SPORTS, will televise all 82 regular season contests as well as four preseason games, during its 25th consecutive season airing Jazz games. The Zone Sports Network (1280 AM/97.5 FM), the exclusive radio home of the Jazz, will broadcast the preseason and regular season schedule in its entirety. The first preseason broadcast for both radio and TV will be October 8 vs.

SALT LAKE CITY (August 21, 2013) – Utah Jazz head coach Tyrone Corbin will participate in the 2013 Basketball without Borders (BWB) camp in South Africa, it was announced today by the National Basketball Association (NBA) and the International Basketball Federation (FIBA). Basketball without Borders is the NBA and FIBA’s global basketball development program that uses sport to create positive social change.

SALT LAKE CITY (August 20, 2013) – The Utah Jazz announced today that the organization has named Justin Zanik as the team’s assistant general manager. In this newly created position, Zanik will participate in all areas of day-to-day management of the team. Zanik is expected to assume his new role on September 1. Per team policy, terms of the agreement were not announced.

SALT LAKE CITY (August 6, 2013) – The Utah Jazz announced today the team’s 2013-14 regular season schedule. The Jazz will tip off its 40th NBA campaign against the Northwest Division rival Oklahoma City Thunder on October 30 at EnergySolutions Arena. Utah’s road opener comes two days later at the Phoenix Suns on November 1, and five of the first seven games overall are scheduled away from home. The regular season will conclude in Minnesota on April 16.
