The Utah Jazz have activated Bryon Russell from the injured list, Vice President of Basketball Operations Kevin O'Connor announced today. Russell was placed on the injured list on November 17 with an avulsion fracture from his pelvis, separation of pubic synthesis. The injury occurred during the November 16 game against Washington. Prior to the injury Russell played in 10 games and averaged 7.3 points in 27.1 minutes.
In a related move the Jazz have placed guard Quincy Lewis on the injured list with left achilles tendinitis. Lewis has played in 25 games for the Jazz this season and has averaged 4.0 points in 14.8 minutes.
Russell will be in uniform tonight's game against the Boston Celtics.
