Jazz Silenced in Game 5 Thriller

The Delta Center got all decked out for NBA Playoffs 2001.
The Jazz season came to an end Thursday night with an 84-83 loss to the Mavericks. Led by Karl Malone, who scored 24 points and had 10 boards, the Jazz led for most of the game until the waning seconds of the fourth quarter. John Stockton had 10 assists and Byron Russell scored 12 points.
