Salt Lake City – Utah Jazz Sr. Vice President of Basketball Operations, Kevin O’Connor, announced today that the team has signed
Mikki Moore for the remainder of the season. Moore was originally signed by the Jazz to a 10-day on January 28, 2004 and signed to a second 10-day contract on February 7.
The 7-0 center has played in eight games with the Jazz this season and averaged 3.6 points and 2.9 rebounds in 13.1 minutes.
Moore played in four games with the Nets earlier this season, where he averaged just 0.5 points in 2.5 minutes. He has also seen action with the Roanoke Dazzle in the NDBL. He played in 17 games with Roanoke, averaging 20.4 points (1st in the league), 8.9 rebounds (2nd in league) and was shooting .540 percent from the field prior to joining the Jazz.
Moore will be in uniform for tomorrow’s game against the Pacers.
