“Kanter Klaus” to Treat Local Youth to Special Holiday Party at Build-A-Bear

SALT LAKE CITY (December 1, 2014) – Utah Jazz center Enes Kanter will don a Santa hat and treat Neighborhood House youth to a fun-filled holiday party at Build-A-Bear Workshop on Tuesday, Dec. 2. “Kanter Klaus” will join the boys and girls for a festive gathering, helping them to create their very own stuffed animals to take home for the holidays and presenting each with a pair of Jazz tickets.

The event is part of Kanter’s ongoing efforts to brighten the holidays for local underprivileged youth and families during the NBA Cares Season of Giving. The Jazz center also delivered 50 Thanksgiving meal baskets to The Road Home for distribution to families in transitional housing last month.

The Jazz enjoy a longstanding relationship with Neighborhood House, a nonprofit organization that provides quality, affordable day care and support services to local children and adults.

The annual NBA Cares Season of Giving continues through the month of December and features a variety of team and player-led charitable events and activities to brighten the holidays for thousands of children and families.
