Game Preview – Jazz v. Wizards

The Jazz will go for their seventh straight win tonight when they take on the Washington Wizards at EnergySolutions Arena.

Led by one of the NBA’s best backcourts in point guard John Wall and sharpshooter Bradley Beal, the Wizards have won four straight and are within a game of the Eastern Conference’s No. 3 slot.

The Jazz have gone 11-2 since the All-Star break and have the NBA’s top defense during that stretch. In those 13 games, the Jazz have allowed an average of 82.8 points—nearly 10 points fewer than the second-best team (Indiana at 92.4).

Rookie swingman Rodney Hood has been particularly productive in the past week. Hood scored 24 points against Charlotte on Monday, marking the third time in four games he set a new career high.

Tipoff is set for 8:30 p.m. MT, and the game will be broadcast on ROOT SPORTS (Xfinity—693, DirecTV—683.1, Dish—445, Hopper—412-33). You can also listen to the game on the Utah Jazz mobile app, which is available for iPhone and Android.*

*Limited to a 75-mile radius of Salt Lake City.
