Sacramento, February 26, 2002 - The Jazz have activated forward Donyell Marshall from the injured list, Kevin O'Connor, vice president of basketball operations announced today. In a related move, the Jazz have placed forward Quincy Lewis on the injured list with tendinitis of the left Achilles.

Marshall was placed on the injured list on January 23 after he suffered a bruised right hip on January 10 against the Houston Rockets. On the season Marshall has played in 34 games and is averaging 16.4 points, 7.9 rebounds in 32.9 minutes.

On the season, Lews has played in 34 games for the Jazz averaging 3.8 points in 16.4 minutes. Lewis spent time on the injured list earlier this season with tendinitis of the left Achilles, and missed 15 games (December 21-January 23).

Marshall is expected to be in uniform tonight when the Jazz take on the Sacramento Kings.
