Jazz Obtain Draft Rights To Fesenko
A native of the Ukraine, Fesenko (7-0, 235 lbs.) averaged 6.7 points, 6.2 rebounds and 1.6 blocked shots in 18.5 minutes a contest for Cherkaski Mavpi of the Ukrainian SuperLeague. Fesenko scored in double figures seven times, posting a season high of 17 points. In six games at the FIBA EuroCup Challenge, Fesenko averaged 7.2 points, 8.0 rebounds and 2.0 blocked shots in 18.7 minutes. A member of the Ukranian National Team, Fesenko averaged 6.8 points, 6.9 rebounds and 2.0 blocked shots at the 2005 U20 European Championships in Moscow. In 2004, the seven-footer averaged 12.0 points, 6.6 rebounds and 2.6 blocked shots at the U18 European Championships in Zaragoza, Spain. |
