Salt Lake City, Utah (September 27, 2006) – The 2006-07 Utah Jazz season tips-off in Boise, Idaho where the team will hold training camp October 3-7 at the Taco Bell Arena on the campus of Boise State University. 

Utah will hold two daily practices at Taco Bell Arena beginning October 3 at 10:00 a.m. through Friday, October 6 and will hold only a morning practice on Saturday, October 7. 

Friday evening’s practice (October 6) will be free and open to the public.  Tickets for the open practice are available at the five Larry Miller dealerships in the Boise area.

The Jazz will open the 2006 preseason on the road as they play the Los Angeles Lakers at the Savemart Center in Fresno, Calif.  Their first home preseason game will be on Thursday, October 19 against the Portland Trail Blazers.
