Utah Jazz to Host Pregame Festival Prior to Home Opener

SALT LAKE CITY (December 29, 2011) – The Utah Jazz will play the team's first home game of the 2011-12 NBA season at EnergySolutions Arena tomorrow night vs. the Philadelphia 76ers as the Jazz management team greets fans upon entrance to a pregame festival on the concourse.

The management team includes team owner Gail Miller, CEO Greg Miller, Jazz President Randy Rigby, Executive Vice Presidents, Senior Vice Presidents and Vice Presidents over basketball operations, sponsor sales, ticket sales, food services, finance, marketing, public and community relations, broadcast, guest services, public safety and facilities. Prior to tipoff, former Utah Jazz forward Thurl Bailey and country singer/songwriter Billy Dean will perform the national anthem with piano accompaniment by Marvin Goldstein.

Fans in attendance will be able to take part in a pregame festival held on the concourse at EnergySolutions Arenathat will include face painters, hair painters and balloon artists. Pregame will feature a fireworks display while the Zuma Zuma Acrobats, who were featured on America's Got Talent, will perform at halftime. The Jazz are also giving away a magnetic schedule to fans at the game.
