Jazz to Hold Media Day on Monday, September 29
Training Camp Begins in Boise on September 30

SALT LAKE CITY (September 15, 2008) – The excitement of the 2008-09 Utah Jazz season gets underway on Monday, September 29 with Media Day, beginning at noon at the Zions Bank Basketball Center. Jazz players, coaches, team president Randy Rigby and general manager Kevin O’Connor will be available to the media for interviews and photos.

Any special Media Day requests must be made in advance through the Utah Jazz public relations department. In addition, full-season media credentials for the 2008-09 season will also be distributed on Media Day.

The Jazz will then open the 2008 preseason schedule on the road against the L.A. Lakers at the Honda Center (Anaheim, Calif.) on October 7 at 8 p.m. MT. The preseason will concludeat homevs. Portland October 23, with the regular season tipping off vs. Denver on October 29. For the first time, all seven Jazz preseason games will be televised on KJZZ-TV, and will also be available on 1320 KFAN/B98.7 FM and the Jazz Radio Network.

A limited number of 2008-09 season ticket packages are currently available for purchase. Mini-packages are also currently available for purchase.
