Mormon Tabernacle Choir to Perform at Jazz Home Opener
Jazz Front Office Management to Greet Fans at Arena Entrances
SALT LAKE CITY (October 28, 2009) – Prior to tipoff at the October 30 Jazz home opener, the Mormon Tabernacle Choir will perform the national anthem for only the second time in Jazz franchise history. The choir previously sang the national anthem on opening night in 2001 and the Jazz remains the only NBA team for which the group has performed.
In addition, members of the Utah Jazz front office will greet fans as they enter EnergySolutions Arena for the game Friday, October 30, when the Jazz host the Los Angeles Clippers. Tipoff is at 7 p.m. and management will be at the EnergySolutions Arena street level and ticket lobby entrances to welcome guests from approximately 6:15 - 6:45 p.m.
The management team includes team owner, Gail Miller, CEO Greg Miller, Jazz President Randy Rigby, executive vice presidents, senior vice presidents and vice presidents over basketball operations, sponsor sales, ticket sales, food services, finance, marketing, public and community relations, broadcast, guest services, public safety and facilities and Fanzz sports apparel stores.
