2009/10 National Anthem Auditions

Want to sing the national anthem in front of 20,000 people?  Auditions to sing at a Utah Jazz home game are coming up on Friday, October 2nd at the Energy Solutions Arena, 301 West South Temple, Salt Lake City, UT beginning at 9:00 a.m. and will run through 1:00 p.m.  This will be the only day to tryout!

The Utah Jazz seeks professional and talented performers to perform the anthem during home games.  The preferred style for the anthem is a cappella and in a traditional version with little personal musical interpretation. 

Audition order is organized on a first come first serve basis.  Assigned audition numbers will be given upon registration.  The audition is open to the general public, for individuals and / or groups.

All participants in the audition will be notified by e-mail whether they have been invited to perform the national anthem or not.  If selected, the performer must sing the same version at their scheduled game, as they performed during auditions. Professional attire is required.

If you cannot make the live audition, a recorded CD version may be mailed into Kelly Crane at the Energy Solutions Arena.  All CD’s must be received by October 2nd.  It is, however, strongly suggested that you attend the live audition.
