2011-12 National Anthem Auditions

If interested in performing the National Anthem at a 2011-2012 Jazz game, please submit an mp3 file to Meikle LaHue at mlahue@utahjazz.com or mail a CD to:

Those selected for further consideration, will be contacted to audition in person at a date to be determined. Those not selected for further consideration will be contacted via email.

Please consider the following when submitting your audition piece:
The Utah Jazz requires that the National Anthem be sung in the traditional manner with no styling or individual musical interpretation. Please keep in mind that the National Anthem is about honoring America and the men and women that serve or have served our country, and not about the individual or group singing the piece. Please sing the anthem in a straight forward manner with the upmost respect and honor for what the song stands for. If selected, the performer must sing the same version at their scheduled game, as they performed during auditions. Professional attire is required.
