With the 47th pick of the 2006 NBA Draft the Jazz selected Paul Millsap out of Louisiana Tech University. Despite leading the nation in rebounding for three consecutive years (12.7) while in college, Millsap slipped in the draft and the Jazz happily took him. "When you're that productive in college for that many seasons, it's not a fluke and we were happy to get him," said Jazz Kevin O'Connor. Millsap quickly became known as the hustle guy and in his rookie season helped the Jazz to the Western Conference Finals. During his six seasons in a Jazz uniform Millsap's numbers have continued to increase. Since beaming a full-time starter two seasons ago he has played at an All-Star level averaging 17 points and 8.5 rebounds and is a fan favorite on and off the court.
