With the 21st pick in the 1989 NBA Draft, the Jazz selected Theodore "Blue" Edwards from East Carolina University. Coming out of small ECU, Edwards endeared himself to Jazz fans with his hustle and ability to finish at the rim. Edwards played three and a half seasons for the Jazz, primarily as a starter averaging just under 11 points, three rebounds and two assists per game.
