After losing the first two games of the Western Conference Finals in San Antonio, the Jazz won game three in convincing fashion 109-83. The #3-seed Spurs led by four at halftime but the second half belonged to the #4-seed Jazz. Behind Deron Williams' 31 points, eight assists and five steals and Carlos Boozer's 27 points and 12 rebounds, the Jazz outscored the Spurs 66-36 in the second half and cruised their way to a blowout victory. Though it would be the only win the Jazz would have in the series, they fought tough and challenged the eventual champion Spurs more than anyone other team in the playoffs that season.
