After knocking out Golden State in the second round, the Jazz were back in the Conference Finals for the first time in 10 years. In San Antonio for Game one, the #4-seed Jazz fell behind early and trailed the #3-seed Spurs by 18 at halftime. The Jazz outscored the Spurs by 10 points in the second half rallying behind Deron Williams who scored 34 points and dished out nine assists but ultimately came up short, losing 108-100. The Spurs "big three" combined for 71 points and went on to win the series in five games.
