Andrei Kirilenko is now in his seventh season in the NBA, all with the Utah Jazz. One of the best all-around players in the NBA, AK became only the fourth player in NBA history, and first since 1993-94 to average 15+ points, 8+ rebounds, 4+ assists and 3+ blocks in a single season (Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Bob Lanier and David Robinson were the others).
He was also named to the NBA’s All-Defensive First Team following last season after leading the league in total blocks. He had twice before been named to the All-Defensive Second Team (2002-05), and was selected as an NBA All-Star in 2004. Kirilenko is one of only four players in Jazz history to register multiple triple-doubles (Maravich, Eaton, K. Malone), and is only the second player in NBA history (Hakeem Olajuwon) to register multiple 5x5 games (5+ points, rebounds, assists, steals and blocks).
Amazingly, he was just 15 when he began his professional careeer in Russia, becoming the youngest player in the history of the Russian League.
