The 6-7, 225-pound forward is now in his sixth season in a Jazz uniform and tenth overall in the NBA. Originally selected by Orlando in the first round (15th pick overall) of the 1998 NBA Draft, Harpring played his first two seasons with the Magic before being traded to Cleveland.
Following a single season with Cleveland, he was traded to Philadelphia where he played one year before signing as a free agent with the Jazz prior to the 2002-03 season.
One of the all-time great players in Georgia Tech history, his No. 15 jersey was retired by the Yellow Jackets prior to his final regular season home game his senior year. In 2003, he was named to the Atlantic Coast Conference’s 50th Anniversary Team, recognizing the 50 greatest players in conference history.
