What is your favorite book? Why?  Children of the Promise (series).  I could relate to it because the setting is SLC, Utah.  It’s fun to read about things that are familiar to me.  It takes place during WWII so you get a little history lesson, too.

Who was your favorite teacher? Why?  I have to pick two.  Dance teacher (Bonnie Story) – she was incredibly motivational!  Communication research teacher (Dr. Mark Bergstrom) – he made what sounded to me, a boring project, exciting and fun.

What are your hobbies?  Dancing, skiing, hiking, rock climbing.

How long have you been dancing?  14 years.

Why did you want to be a Jazz Dancer?  I love to perform!  I enjoy knowing what’s going on in the community and doing charity work.

What do you do to stay healthy – inside and out?  Exercise, get enough sleep, try to eat healthy, smile, and laugh often.

Where were you born and raised?  Taylorsville, Utah

Where did you go to high school?  Taylorsville High School

College?  University of Utah

Do you have a job outside of being a Jazz Dancer? What is it?  Komatsu Equipment – Sales Administrator

What do you want to do after your Jazz Dancer career is finished?  Teach dance and be a mom.

What’s the best advice you ever received?  The main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing.

What has been your most embarrassing moment as a Dancer?  While performing at halftime I fell out of a triple turn and heard a section of the audience say “Ohhhhh!”
