Utah Jazz and O.C. Tanner to Host Charitable Gala

On Wednesday, March 30, 2011, the Utah Jazz and O.C. Tanner will host this year’s Leapin’ Leaners and Low Tops, an annual fundraising gala that benefits Larry H. Miller Charities.  Held on the EnergySolutions Arena basketball court, this unique event allows fans an opportunity to personally interact with Jazz players and coaches while generating money for charity.

Guests at Leapin’ Leaners and Low Tops can participate in a wide variety of activities that involve Jazz team members, such as basketball shooting contests, pingpong matches and video games.  Photo and autograph opportunities will also be offered, as well as a tour of the Jazz locker room.  An elegant buffet dinner will be served, and sports memorabilia will be available for purchase that night via silent and live auctions.  Black tie or semiformal dress is encouraged, but all guests attending Leapin’ Leaners & Low Tops wear the event’s signature footwear – gym shoes!

Money raised from Leapin’ Leaner’s and Low Tops will be donated to Larry H. Miller Charities, a nonprofit organization that funds children’s charities in the areas of health and education.
