Williams’ Point of Hope Foundation Aids Local Families

Deron Williams brightened the holidays for several families in need this year with a Christmas celebration made possible through his Point of Hope Foundation.  Sixty guests, consisting of single mothers and their children, dined at Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse in early December with Williams and his family.

Santa hats and reindeer antlers were donned by many before entering a private room where elegant linen-covered tables and a generous supply of gifts lay waiting.  Williams personally greeted and mingled with guests as they arrived.

At the end of the evening, toys and clothing were distributed to the children, while mothers received gift bags with candles and a generous gift certificate to a local retail store.  Families left laden with presents and filled with the spirit of Christmas. 

Williams’ Point of Hope Foundation focuses on providing support and hope to those with cancer and to others who are in need.
