1320 KFAN and the Utah Jazz Collected 3,300 Pounds of Food for the Utah Food Bank

1320 AM KFANSalt Lake City (October 22, 2008)1320 KFAN and the Utah Jazz collected approximately 3,300 pounds of food for the Utah Food Bank today at Karl Malone Toyota in Draper, Utah.  For each bag of non- perishable food fans donated, they received one complimentary Utah Jazz ticket for the October 23rd game versus the Portland Trailblazers.  Nearly 1,000 tickets were distributed.

“We are very pleased with the success of today’s event,” said Jazz President Randy Rigby.  “Fans were extremely supportive of the food drive and we are grateful for the opportunity to help put food on the table for those in need.”

1320 KFAN’s ‘DJ and PK In The Morning,’ with David James and Patrick Kinahan, broadcast their number-one rated sports show live from Karl Malone Toyota from 6 a.m. – 10 a.m. and collected approximately 3,300 pounds of food during that time.


 

1320 KFAN and Utah Jazz To Host Collection Drive for Utah Food Bank

SALT LAKE CITY (October 20, 2008) –1320 KFAN and the Utah Jazz will host a collection drive for the Utah Food Bank on Wednesday, October 22 at Karl Malone Toyota located at 11453 South Lone Peak Parkway in Draper, Utah. Fans donating a bag of non- perishable food will receive one complimentary Utah Jazz ticket for the October 23rd game versus the Portland Trailblazers.

1320 AM KFAN“1320 KFAN and the Jazz want to help the food bank collect enough to get through the upcoming holiday season,” said Utah Jazz President Randy Rigby. “We understand that donations are down right now and it is important to all of us that we support those in need.”

1320 KFAN’s ‘DJ and PK In The Morning’ with David James and Patrick Kinahan will broadcast their number one rated sports show live from Karl Malone Toyota and will be accepting donations from 6 a.m. – 10 a.m. The Utah Food Bank will be on hand to collect all donations for their warehouse.

Each fan can donate up to six bags of food and receive six Jazz game tickets.
