We are very pleased to announce that we have had a fantastic response from the Las Vegas volunteer community and expect to be fully staffed. We are currently processing the applications we received at the Information Session and expect to be mailing out confirmation letters by the third week of January.

In the event that a spot becomes available on our volunteer roster, we have started a wait-list for people who are still interested in getting involved. You can add your name to the list if you are 18 or older, love basketball and are available for a 5 hour shift every day from February 15th thru Feb 19th .

To add your name to our wait-list please call our Hotline at 866-622-5287 and follow the voice prompts. If we are able to add your name to the MVP Volunteer Team roster, someone from our production office will be contacting you by January 22nd .

Are you a budding basketball coach or a future All-Star? Are you a basketball fan? Are you 18 or older and looking for an opportunity to represent your community and your favorite sport? If you answered an enthusiastic "YES" to any of these questions we have an opening on our Jam Session MVP Volunteer roster for you!

The NBA is looking for 2,000 energetic and dedicated people to join the 2007 NBA All-Star Jam Session presented by adidas MVP Volunteer Team. As a Jam Session MVP, you'll have the opportunity to work with fans of all ages, serving as a basketball ambassador to help them create memories and have the basketball time of their lives. To join the roster you must be able to volunteer for at least two consecutive days for one 4 hour shift between February 15-19.

Transforming the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, Jam Session offers over 400,000 square feet of interactive basketball activities where fans can collect autographs and meet NBA & WNBA players & legends, compete against their friends at the Bungee Run, watch the kids slam dunk at the Kids Zone, see how their hand and shoe sizes “Measure Up” to their favorite NBA and WNBA players and much, much more. Jam Session features Center Court where the NBA All-Stars practice and celebrities match up in a variety of games and skills challenges as well as an extensive trading card and collectibles area and the NBA Store, where fans can purchase NBA and NBA All-Star apparel and souvenirs.

For more information, we invite you to attend our upcoming Jam Session MVP Volunteer Team information and registration meeting on Wednesday, December 13 at 7:30pm. During this one-hour meeting, we’ll introduce you to Jam Session and discuss in detail the wide variety of volunteer assignments and the dates and shift times available. You’ll also have an opportunity to complete our official application.
