Welcome to the Western Conference Check-In, a weekly status update of all that has been happening in the playoffs from the West Coast. With some of the leagueís best individual talents and star-studded squads facing off each other, you are guaranteed thrillers and memorable performance night after night from the conference.

As we draw curtains to a memorable First Round of the NBA playoffs, there were very few winners in the Western Conference, there were just survivors. Three of the four series in the West went to the do-or-die seventh game, and one was decided on a series-clinching buzzer-beater. But there is no time for the survivors to rest on their laurels; the Second Round is already here and a whole new set of challenges lie ahead. Hereís a check-in with the remaining four contenders from the West.
