No. 5: Rudy Gay
Gay was always one of the NBA’s better perimeter players with the Grizzlies, and when he got traded to the Raptors mid-season, his game further blossomed with more offensive opportunities. The small forward, who was averaging 17.2 ppg and 5.9 rpg for Memphis this season, improved his production to 19.4 and 6.4 and helping his team to a 17-14 record with him on the floor. But while his former team is jostling for home court in the playoffs, Gay and the Raptors will end the season fighting for last place in the Atlantic Division.
