Through five NBA teams, three NBA D-League teams, two teams in Russia, and one in China, it has been quite a journey for Gerald Green. He exploded on the scene after winning the NBA Slam Dunk championship in his second season, but had to settle for a life of a journeyman since. Green played for the NBA D-League’s Fayetteville Patriots and Florida Flame before short stints with the Timberwolves, Rockets, and Mavericks, and then headed overseas for several years. He made a strong return to the NBA D-League for the Los Angeles D-Fenders, making the NBA D-League All-Star Team and winning the All-Star MVP Award last year. The Nets brought him back to the NBA, and now, he’s a valuable backup for the Pacers. Watch him on action against the Clippers live on NBA.com/India today!
