Making their eighth visit to the Conference Finals in 15 years, the Spurs have been the most constant force of our generation, and the partnership of Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, Manu Ginobili, along with Coach Gregg Popovich, has ensured that San Antonio always remain a threat out West. Despite their successes though, the Spurs haven’t been to the NBA Finals since their 2007 Championship. This year, Popovich has the veterans feeling like it could be their one last run. Duncan performed as one of the league’s elite big men again, and Parker as an MVP candidate once more. The Spurs have dealt with a slow, big team (Lakers) and a small, fast team (Warriors) in the playoffs already. They have the ability to respond and adjust to the challenge ahead.
