Boylan, 58, stepped into the interim role with the Milwaukee Bucks back in January after the franchise parted ways with Scott Skiles, who had coached the team since 2008. Boylan had previously served as lead assistant under Skiles. After a 16-16 start under Skiles, the Bucks went 22-28 under Boylan to finish in the Eastern Conference’s No. 8 playoff spot. The Bucks were then swept in four games by the No. 1 seeded Heat.
