Attack the basket and come to a jump stop so you are in balance. Go up strong for a power lay-up with shoulders squared to the basket to avoid the shot blocked.



Players start in a position similar to a push up position but instead they have their weight on their arms. Through the plank they should feel the core area being worked on.


Player must use both hands for a basic pass. Player steps forward to pass and follows through with fingers facing the receiver with thumbs facing the floor for an accurate pass.


Spread two players across the key. Passer must use basic pass techniques while receiver must step toward the passer to receive with both hands spread open ready to receive the ball.


Three players must be used for this drill with two passers across the key and one defender in the middle. The passers should complete good passes to each other without getting the ball deflected or intercepted by a defender.


Player uses both hands for basic chest pass. Player must step forward to pass and follow the same basic passing technique while receiver should receive the ball directly at chest level.


Player follows basic passing technique with a bounce pass added. The ball must hit the floor at least three-quarters of the distance to your receiver.
