One of the most important fundamentals in all of basketball, the triple-threat allows you to shoot, dribble or pass with your first move.


From the triple threat position, players rip through under the knees to avoid the ball from getting intercepted by the defender.


From the triple threat position, players rip through over the eyes to avoid the ball from getting intercepted by the defender.


Step forward with left foot across the defender. This will help the offensive player protect the ball and also make the defender shift across to the left.


Step forward with right foot across the defender. This will help the offensive player protect the ball and also make the defender shift across to the right.


From the right foot pivot, you can go straight into the right hand power dribble. Pounding the ball will keep the ball from getting deflected by the defender.


From the left foot pivot, you can go straight into the left hand power dribble. Pounding the ball will keep the ball from getting deflected by the defender.
