Select-A-Seat Rescheduled for May 7
Due to playoff scheduling, the Hornets Select-a-Seat event scheduled for Sunday, May 4 has now been cancelled and rescheduled for Wednesday, May 7 at the New Orleans Arena.
Season ticket holders’ appointment times will remain as originally scheduled and will now be valid for Wednesday.
Season ticket holders are encouraged to call their Hornets Account Executive at 504-525-HOOP with any questions.
Select-A-Seat Scheduled for May 1, 2 and 4
Season Ticket Holders have the opportunity to relocate their seats or add additional seats to their current locations at the Hornets Select-A-Seat event. Select-A-Seat is a chance to see available seat locations before changing seat locations and/or adding to the number of seats currently on account.
Select-A-Seat is tentatively scheduled for May 1, 2 and 4 at the New Orleans Arena. All Season Ticket Holders have been sent a letter with their appointment dates assigned as “day one,” “day two,” or “day three.”
Day one will be Thursday, May 1; Day 2 will be Friday, May 2; and Day 3 will be Sunday, May 4. Season Ticket Holders who cannot attend at their assigned time may attend at anytime thereafter or may send someone else in their place by completing and returning the proxy form mailed with the invitation letter. Season Ticket Holders who are unable to attend at any time during the event and are unable to send someone in their place may provide a valid telephone number so their account representative may reach them during their assigned appointment time.
Free parking will be provided in Lot 3 on the east side of the Arena. Entrance to Select-A-Seat will be at the Season Ticket Holder Entrance on Girod St. on the north side of the building.

Miller Beer Garden
All Full Season Ticket Holders are invited to attend the pre-game Miller Beer Garden from 5:30-6:45pm* at Buzz Fest! The New Orleans Hornets rewarded a randomly selected group of Season Ticket Holders in a special way at the end of the final game of the season on April 16. Season Ticket Holders lined up on the court as each player selected two names from a hat. One Season Ticket Holder received the player’s autographed shoes, and one Season Ticket Holder received the player’s autographed warm-up jacket. The team truly enjoyed the opportunity to personally thank our most-valuable fans with their autographed merchandise!

New Orleans Hornets Season Ticket Holders joined Hornets executives, coaches and players for an evening of fun, music and Casino games at the Second Annual Casino Night on Thursday, February 21. Casino Night was the annual Season Ticket Holder party and was a chance to celebrate the season and say thank you to the Hornets most loyal fans. Casino Night was also the tip-off of season ticket renewals for next year and close to 200 Season Ticket Holders renewed their tickets at the event.
The James Andrew Band entertained attendees New Orleans-style while they enjoyed delicious food and mingled with Hornets players and executive staff. Hornets Owner George Shinn also addressed the crowd of Season Ticket Holders and thanked them for their support. Each attendee received $1,000 in Hornets chips to play games such as Roulette, Wheel of Fortune and Black Jack to win great prizes. The top three winners won an all-expense paid trip to the 2009 NBA All-Star Weekend in Phoenix, a catered suite night and a 40" flat-screen television.
Hornets Casino Night was a tremendous success due to the efforts of all involved. The Hornets staff and many Season Ticket Holders are already looking forward to next year's annual party!
Season Ticket Holder Open Practice

The Hornets held a private Open Practice at the New Orleans Arena on Sunday, January 20. Hundreds of Season Ticket Holders attended this exclusive session and cheered the team on as they ran drills, shot around and the starters scrimmaged against the bench. Owner George Shinn addressed the crowd and said thank you for their tremendous support this season, and Coach Scott introduced his team and spoke about their progress and individuality. The players, Coach and Owner answered questions and provided unique insight into their daily lives- both on and off the court. At the conclusion of practice each player shot a half-court shot to win prizes for Season Ticket Holders. The crowd went wild when Tyson, CP3 and Coach Scott each hit their shot! Chris Paul met with Season Ticket Holders who sit in his sections of the Arena immediately following practice and thanked them for their support. Thank you to all Season Ticket Holders for attending this event and for supporting our Hornets!

To celebrate the Thanksgiving Holiday, Morris Peterson, Jannero Pargo, Hilton Armstrong, Julian Wright and Adam Haluska joined the Fan Experience staff in delivering pecan pies to Season Ticket Holders in the downtown area. The players enjoyed bringing Holiday cheer into local offices and our Season Ticket Holders were thrilled with the chance to meet a player and bring home a delicious Thanksgiving pie. The Hornets are thankful for our Season Ticket Holders!

On Opening Night nearly 600 Season Ticket Holders came to the Season Ticket Holder Beer Garden sponsored by Miller at Lite at Buzz Fest. At the Beer Garden Season Ticket Holders were treated to complimentary beer, food, drinks, Bacardi, and a VIP area to watch the band Bag of Donuts. To celebrate Halloween at the Hive the Fan Experience staff held a costume contest, and loved seeing our Season Ticket Holders all dressed up for the occasion! Congratulations to the Robert and Valerie May family, whose Viking costumes took the grand prize of four floor seats! Thanks to all who attended, and stay tuned for the next Beer Garden!

The Fan Experience staff was thrilled to host 100 Season Ticket Holders on the Party Bus to Biloxi. From the bus ride to the game to the stay at the Beau Rivage to the Hornets victory over the Miami Heat, it was a great time for everyone! Stay tuned for the next Season Ticket Holder Party Bus trip!
