Bobcats Hire Guelli to Lead Sales and Marketing Efforts

Bobcats Sports & Entertainment (BSE) President and Chief Operating Officer Fred Whitfield announced today the organization has hired former Buffalo Bills executive Pete Guelli as Executive Vice President and Chief Sales and Marketing Officer. Guelli will begin his duties with the Bobcats on April 20.
"After a comprehensive nationwide search and careful deliberation over the past five months, I am proud to say that we’ve found the right person for this job," said Whitfield. "Pete’s background, experience and tremendous success in a smaller market like ours made him the best choice among the dozens of well-qualified candidates we considered during this process, and I look forward to working closely with him to continue to push our business in the right direction."
In this newly created role, Guelli will report directly to Whitfield, be responsible for revenue generation and branding, and oversee the ticket sales and services, luxury products sales and services, corporate partnership sales and services, game presentation and production, boradcast and marketing departments. With 20 years experience in sales and marketing and 11 with the NFL’s Bills, Guelli is uniquely suited to handle the dual role with the Bobcats.
