THE RESULT
The Bobcats (7-38) were able to start off well and build a quick lead. Unfortunately, Milwaukee (22-25) had a huge advantage in the paint and pulled away from the Bobcats to get the 112-92 victory on March 23 at Time Warner Cable Arena®..

TURNING POINTS
The Bobcats got off to a quick start, hitting 7-of-12 shots to start the game en route to an 18-12 lead… However, the Bucks outscored the Bobcats, 24-8, to take a 36-26 lead with 6:02 left in the first half. During Milwaukee’s run, the Bobcats shot 22 percent (4 of 18) and allowed the Bucks to get into a rhythm on the offensive end… Charlotte was never able to get back into the game as Milwaukee stretched the lead out to 22 points with 6:26 left and never allowed the Bobcats to get back into the game.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
The Bucks were able to dominate down low, where they outscored the Bobcats, 72-34… A big reason that the Bucks were so good down low is that they won the battle on the boards, 47-37, allowing the Milwaukee also shot a high percentage from the field, connecting on 53.3 percent (48 of 90), while the Bobcats were only able to hit 40.5 percent (34 of 84).. The Bobcats did a great job converting at the free-throw line, hitting 88.5 percent (23 of 26)… Both teams handled the ball well, with the Bobcats turning the ball over 11 times, and the Bucks only nine times.

BOBCATS PLAYER OF THE GAME
Gerald Henderson had a monster game for the Bobcats, tying a season high with 29 points to go along with six rebounds and assists.

BOBCATS TOP RESERVE
Kemba Walker had a solid game for the Bobcats with 13 points and seven assists. He also handled the ball well, finishing the game without a single turnover.

BUCKS PLAYER OF THE GAME
Drew Gooden was the main reason for the Bucks domination in the paint as the big man finished the game with 14 points, 12 rebounds and four assists.

INSIDE THE LOCKER ROOM
"I was very pleased with Gerald. This is what I am talking about though. He is in his third year and hasn’t had the opportunity to play a lot before I took over. This whole year he has been coming, and you watch in the next two years. He is really learning this game and is starting to understand what he needs to do."
- Head Coach Paul Silas on the play of Gerald Henderson

"Once you hit a shot or two, but I was able to take advantage over Monta because he is smaller than me. He was also trying to attack me because he is quicker than me. I was able to get to a spot and use my jumping ability to shoot over him and get a few open shots."
- Bobcats guard Gerald Henderson on the battle with Monta Ellis

GAME NOTES
Besides Henderson and Walker, Corey Maggette (10 ) and Tyrus Thomas (10) finished scoring in double digits… Gana Diop was inactive due to a right hamstring strain… DJ White injured his big right toe in the first half, but was able to come back and play in the second half.
