The Bobcats closed their four-game West Coast road trip with a loss on December 22 in the Mile High City, 110-88, against the Nuggets. The Cats were lead by Ramon Sessions off the bench, tying his season high with 23 points and Byron Mullens’ fifth double-double of the season (16 points, 14 rebounds).
Andre Iguodala scored eight points in the last three minutes of the second quarter as the Nuggets went on a 15-5 run to close the half and extend their lead to 18 points. Fatigue seemed to set in on the short Bobcats bench, as they couldn’t seem to reel in the 20-point lead the Nuggets held in the second half.
