QUICK FACTS
Brezec averaged 12.4 points and 5.6 rebounds while shooting .517 percent from the field in the 2005-06 season. He played in and started 79 games, averaging 27.4 minutes. During the offseason, the 7-1 center played in the World Championships for his native country, Slovenia. He was selected by the Bobcats in the Expansion Draft from the Indiana Pacers, where he spent three years. In the 2003-04 season, his first with Charlotte, he contributed career numbers in many statistical categories, including points (13.0) and rebounds (7.4). Before being selected by Indiana with the 27th overall pick in the 2000 NBA Draft, Brezec played professionally in Slovenia from 1997-2001 and has been a member of the Slovenian National Team since he was 15.
