ESPN.COM Insider - Chad Ford
Kris Humphries, F, 6-9 1/2, 238, Minnesota Ford's Take: The way Humphries has worked out the past few days, he could end up
going even higher. The Jazz at No. 14, the Celtics at No. 15 and the Hawks at No. 17 are all showing interest. J.R. Smith is another possibility, but the Hornets are among the most conservative franchises in the NBA and have shied away from high school kids. Taking a college freshman is still a reach for them, but Humphries' ability to play the four and the three could really help out in the long term. He's a better prospect than David West, whom they nabbed at the same draft spot last year.

Dorell Wright, SF, 6-7, 190, South Kent Prep (Connecticut)
We still like Wright at the 18th pick. The high schooler gives the Hornets an
athletic punch on the wing that they lack, and he's got loads of
potential. If that potential is realized, he could be a major steal.
MSNBC.COM - Ray Glier
Robert Swift, C, 7-0, 269, Bakersfield H.S. (California) Glier's Take: Raw 7-footer has terrific footwork. Celtics might have been hoping to
grab him with one of their first-round picks.
CBS Sportsline.com - Tony Mejia, Gregg Doyel Sebastian Telfair, PG, Brooklyn Lincoln H.S.(New York) Mejia's Take: With Bassy and fellow prep J.R. Smith on the board, the Hornets have the
opportunity to develop a talented prospect to boost backcourt depth. The call here is Telfair, who has picked up his share of admirers during the workout circuit.
Doyel's Pick Al Jefferson, PF, 6-10, Prentiss HS (Mississippi) Doyel's Take: While it would be so like the Hornets to go for Slidell's Chris Duhon, they should pick Mississippi high school PF Al Jefferson instead.

One of the few decent American centers in this year's draft. Raw but intriguing prospect.
