 October 21, 2009 The New Orleans Hornets announced today that they have requested waivers on center Earl Barron and guard Larry Owens. Barron (7-0, 268) played in six preseason games for the Hornets, averaging 3.8 points and 5.8 rebounds in 17.3 minutes per game. Owens (6-7, 210) saw action in two preseason games, averaging 1.0 points and 1.0 rebounds in 5.5 minutes per contest. The Hornets roster now stands at 15 players. |
