THE RESULT
Gerald Henderson led five Cats scoring in double digits with 12 points, but it wasn’t enough as the Bobcats fell, 92-83, to the Orlando Magic on Dec. 11 at Time Warner Cable Arena. Al Jefferson notched a double-double (10 points, 11 rebounds) and Josh McRoberts chipped in 11 points, five rebounds and three assists.

TURNING POINTS
After taking an 18-16 lead, Orlando outscored Charlotte 27-24 to take the lead at the half, 43-42. Charlotte battled back to bring the game within four, 83-79, but could not control Jameer Nelson, who scored six of his 12 fourth-quarter points in the final three minutes. The Bobcats were outscored 25-21 in the final stanza.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
Charlotte struggled on 36.9 percent (31-for-84) shooting compared to Orlando’s 42.2 percent (38-for-90)… The biggest difference came in three-point shooting in the second half, where the Magic connected on 63 percent (7-for-11), while the Cats shot just 18 percent (2-for-11) from long range… Although the Magic outrebounded the Cats, 52-41, Charlotte held the advantage in the paint, 42-36… The Cats turned 15 Magic turnovers into 14 points. In contrast, Orlando turned the Cats over 10 times for 11 points… Charlotte finished with five players in double figure scoring – Gerald Henderson (12), Josh McRoberts (11), Al Jefferson (10), Kemba Walker (10) and Cody Zeller (10)… Orlando finished with seven players in double figure scoring – Glen Davis (17), Jameer Nelson (17), Arron Afflalo (16), Nikola Vucevic (12), Victor Oladipo (10), Andrew Nicholson (10) and E’Twaun Moore (10).

MAGIC PLAYER OF THE GAME
Glen Davis led the way for the Magic with 17 points on 47 percent (8-for-17) shooting. He also added 12 rebounds, three assists, one steal and one blocked shot in 36 minutes of play.

GAME NOTES
After holding the Magic to 92 points, Charlotte held its opponent under 100 points for the 18th time, which is the most in the NBA this season… With 10 points and 11 rebounds, Al Jefferson has tallied double-doubles in five of his last six games. Jefferson posted four consecutive double-doubles from Nov. 29- Dec. 6 becoming the first Bobcats player with four consecutive double- doubles since Gerald Wallace had six straight from Nov. 18-28, 2009. During the six-game stretch, he is averaging 16.6 points, 11.6 rebounds and 1.6 assists, while shooting .443 from the field (35-79). Jefferson has scored in double figures in eight straight games… With three steals against the Magic, Kemba Walker recorded his 33rd game with three or more steals since the start of the 2012-2013 season, which is third in the NBA behind only Chris Paul’s 38 and Ricky Rubio’s 36. Walker recorded a season-high five steals on Nov. 15 against Cleveland.
