Al Jefferson continues his strong play since returning from an ankle injury four games ago. He approached a double-double with 16 points and nine rebounds, and added three blocks and two assists. In the four-game stretch, Big Al has averaged 14.5 points, 6.3 boards and 2.25 blocks while shooting 48.0 percent from the field.

THE RESULT
Al Jefferson came up one rebound shy of a double-double with 16 points and nine rebounds in the second game of a three-game homestand over Thanksgiving week, but the Bobcats were defeated, 99-74, by the Indiana Pacers on Nov. 27 at Time Warner Cable Arena.

TURNING POINTS
The Cats shot just 18.2 percent in the first quarter and were outscored 22-11. Charlotte came out stronger in the second, outscoring the league’s best team, 27-21, to cut the lead to five at the half… After three quarters, the Cats deficit was only eight points but the Pacers outscored the Cats by 17 points in the final stanza to secure the 25-point victory.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
Al Jefferson scored 16 points to lead three Cats in double digits. Kemba Walker added 15 and Gerald Henderson had 10… Indiana outrebounded Charlotte, 57-43, and turned its 45-32 edge on the defensive glass into 16-4 advantage on the break… The Pacers also had 20 assists to the Cats 13 while swiping eight steals to Charlotte’s three.

GAME NOTES
At the end of three quarters both squads combined to shoot 28.6 percent. Charlotte held a 29.0 percent (18-for-62) to 28.1 percent (18-for-64) advantage… Indiana connected on 70.0 percent (14-for-20) of its shots in the final frame to finish the game with a 38.1 percent (32-for-84) to 31.3 percent (26-for-83) edge… The Pacers posted season highs of 57 rebounds and 45 defensive rebounds, also recording a Bobcats opponent season high in rebounds… Indiana connected on 10 three-pointers to the Cats three, led by six off the bench from CJ Watson.
