THE RESULT
Kemba Walker (22 points) and Al Jefferson (20) each turned in 20-point efforts for the 14th time this season, but the Cats dropped this one, 100-89, to the Houston Rockets on March 24 at Time Warner Cable Arena.   

TURNING POINTS
The Cats trailed for most the game, but hung around and went on a 12-3 run in the third quarter sparked by Al Jefferson to take a 66-65 lead. The Rockets responded behind James Harden, who scored 10 points in the final two minutes giving Houston a 10-poimt lead at quarter’s end. Charlotte wouldn’t give up the fight, closing a 13-point deficit to just five with 2:16 left in the game, but back-to-back threes from Chandler Parsons and Patrick Beverley proved to be the knockout blow for the Cats.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
After shooting 52.1 percent on March 22 against Portland, Charlotte’s shooting was anemic as they converted on 37.2 percent of their field goals and 19.0 percent from beyond the arc. Houston was able to shoot more effectively from the floor as they shot 47.6 percent overall and 44.4 percent from three…. Behind All-Star Dwight Howard, the Rockets dominated the paint, outscoring the Cats, 50-38, and outrebounding them, 42-38… Houston was also to generate good ball movement, assisting on 22 of their field goals compared to Charlotte’s 12… The Rockets were also able to get out and run on the Cats leading them in fastbreak scoring ,21-4… Charlotte was able to get to the free throw line 25 times as Houston committed 24 fouls. The Cats made 21 attempts (84.0 percent), while the Rockets went 10-for-18 (55.6 percent).

ROCKETS PLAYER OF THE GAME
James Harden showed why he is one of the best guards the NBA has to offer. He seemed un-guardable at times as he finished with a game-high 31 points. Harden also dished out a team-high five assists and grabbed three boards in 39 minutes.

GAME NOTES
The Cats have now lost both meetings with the Rockets this season, and have dropped seven straight to Houston… Al Jefferson now has 21 games with at least 20 points and 10 rebounds – the most in a single season in franchise history. Jefferson has also hit the 20-point mark for the 28th time in his last 34 games…. With 22 points, Kemba Walker has scored in double-figures in 16 of his last 21 games and for the 53rd time this season. Gerald Henderson also scored in double figures (13 points) and did so for the 56th time this season… Cody Zeller put together his 12th double-digit scoring performance this season after posting 10 points… Dwight Howard returned to the starting lineup for the Rockets after missing the previous three games with an ankle strain.
