Black tie affair features live entertainment, auction to benefit CP3 Foundation June 26, 2008 Hornets All-Star guard Chris Paul will host his inaugural CP3 Big Easy Gala on Thursday, July 2 at 7 p.m. at Harrah’s New Orleans Theatre. All proceeds from the event will benefit the CP3 Foundation and stay within the New Orleans community. “I’m excited to finally host the gala event here in New Orleans,” said Paul. “My heart belongs to this city, and it’s a blessing to be able to host an elegant event like this to help raise money to rebuild and renew my hometown of New Orleans.” The Casino Royale themed gala will feature a cocktail reception from 7-8 p.m. followed by a formal dinner and live auction. Live entertainment will be provided by Black Violin, a hip-hop violin duo. Black tie or Casino Royale themed attire is recommended.
