THE RESULT
Josh McRoberts scored a season-high 19 points but it wasn’t enough as the Bobcats fell, 103-94, to the Atlanta Hawks on Nov. 11 at Time Warner Cable Arena. Michael Kidd-Gilchrist added 16 points, six rebounds and two assists.

TURNING POINTS
The Cats got off to a quick start, jumping out to a 17-8 lead in the first quarter and took a 54-46 lead at the half, but Charlotte couldn’t keep the lead after coming out what Head Coach Steve Clifford referred to as “flat” in the third quarter. Atlanta outscored the Bobcats 34-16 in the frame to take an 80-70 lead entering the fourth. The Cats fought back to bring themselves within five (93-88) but were unable to gain the lead back as Atlanta took the victory.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
Charlotte finished with seven players in double figure scoring – Josh McRoberts (19), Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (16), Kemba Walker (12), Gerald Henderson (11) and Al Jefferson, Ramon Sessions and Jeffery Taylor all tied with 10 points apiece… After shooting 46 percent in the first half, the Bobcats had trouble carrying their momentum into the second half, struggling on 33 percent shooting (6-for18) in the third quarter, compared to Atlanta’s 72 percent shooting (13-for-18)… Atlanta was also on fire from beyond the arc, hitting five of its seven 3-point attempts as the Hawks outscored Charlotte, 34-16… With Big man Al Jefferson back in the lineup after missing five games with an ankle sprain, Charlotte controlled the paint, outscoring Atlanta 44-32, but it wasn’t enough to carry Charlotte to a victory.
