The Fort Wayne Mad Ants will hold open tryouts for the 2013-14 season in the Charlotte, North Carolina area on Sunday, October 6th. The Mad Ants are the NBA Development League affiliate of the Charlotte Bobcats, Detroit Pistons, Indiana Pacers, Memphis Grizzlies, Milwaukee Bucks and Orlando Magic.
The tryout will take place at Carolina Courts located at 24 SW Spring Street, Concord, NC. Check-in will begin at 9:00 a.m. with the tryout set to begin at 10:00 a.m.
The Mad Ants local player tryouts offer athletes an opportunity to showcase their talents in front of the Fort Wayne Mad Ants’ coaching staff. Players will compete to earn an invitation to the team’s training camp, which will begin in early November. Interested players should submit the official registration and release forms, in addition to a $150 non-refundable fee to the Mad Ants office by October 2nd. The fee for registration on the day of tryouts will be $200. Payments must be made by money order or cashier’s check. Application forms are available at www.fortwaynehoops.com.
