Season Ticket Renewal Contest Rules

The Contest begins at 12:01am Central Time on February 18th, 2011 (the “Contest Start Date”) and closes at 11:59am Central Time on March 19, 2011 (the “Contest End Date”) (such period being the “Contest Period”). Participation in the Contest constitutes full and unconditional agreement and acceptance of these Contest Rules, which are final on all matters relating to the Contest.

1. How to Enter: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. There are two (2) methods to enter the Contest:

A. Renew your New Orleans Hornets Season Tickets for the 2011-12 season during the contest period and you are automatically entered. Season tickets for 2011-12 must be of equal or greater value than your 2010-11 New Orleans Hornets Season Tickets to constitute a renewal. Only one (1) entry per account renewed shall be accepted.

B. Hand print your name, address, day and evening telephone numbers and the words “Season Ticket Holder Renewal Contest” on a 3” x 5” card and mail in a postage stamped self-addressed envelope to “New Orleans HornetsSeason Ticket Holder Renewal Contest”, 1250 Poydras, Suite 1900, New Orleans, LA, 70113. The New Orleans Hornets NBA Limited Partnership (the “New Orleans Hornets”) will not be responsible for lost, late, incomplete, illegible, damaged, destroyed, postage due, or misdirected entries. Only one (1) entry per mail-in request shall be accepted per account. The renewal entry method and mail-in entry method described above shall be referred to herein as “Entries.” One Daily Prize will be awarded each day beginning February 18rd and continuing each day thereafter through and including March 19, 2011.

2. Deadlines: Entries received before 11:59am Central Time on Friday, February 18, 2011 will be eligible for each of the thirty (30) Daily Prize drawings. Entries received before 11:59am CT each remaining day thereafter during the Contest Period will be eligible for that day’s Daily Prize drawing and each remaining Daily Prize drawing during the Contest Period.

3. Who Can Play: Contest is open to 2010-11 New Orleans Hornets season ticket holders, 2010-11 partial plan buyers and any new buyers who purchases a full season ticket package (all 41 regular season home games) for the 2010-11 season, and are eighteen (18) years of age or older except employees and immediate families (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) of the New Orleans Hornets and the National Basketball Association and its Member Teams, NBA Properties, Inc. (collectively, the “NBA Entities”), and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, owners, employees and agents. Contest is also open to those who enter by mail as provided in (1)(B) above.

4. Drawings: Random computerized drawings will be conducted in order to determine the winner of each day’s prize from among all eligible entrants who have not yet been selected as a prize winner for an earlier prize. Drawings will take place each morning beginning Friday, February 18, to award the prize for the previous days. Each Daily Prize winner will be contacted the same day the drawing takes place or on the following Monday for prizes awarded on Saturday or Sunday when there is no home game.

5. Contest Prizes: Starting Friday, February 18, 2011, for thirty (30) consecutive days, one (1) entrant will be chosen as the Daily Prize winner through a random drawing including all eligible Entrants. Winners will be notified via telephone and/or e-mail. In the event that a Daily Prize winner does not respond within 2 business days or declines the prize, an alternate winner will be selected.

(A) A trip for two (2) to an away game during the 2011-12 season (approximate retail value of $2,500)
(B) An autographed Chris Paul Jersey (approximate retail value of $500)
(C) $200 Acme Gift Card (approximate retail value of $200)
(D) An autographed ball of the entire 2010-11 team (approximate retail value of $300)
(E) Two (2) Club level seats for the Hornets vs. Celtics game on Mar. 19, 2011 (approximate retail value of $1,300)
(F) 40” Flat Screen TV (approximate retail value of $800)
(G) Two (2) Floor seats to the FANtastic FANale game vs. Jazz on Apr. 11, 2011 (approximate retail value of $900)
(H) iPad (approximate retail value of $600)
(I) $200 adidas Hornets Nest Gift Card (approximate retail value of $200)
(J) A Hornets Suite Night experience, including 16 suite tickets & $500 food/beverage credit, for the Hornets vs. Celtics game on Mar. 19, 2011 (approximate retail value of $3,900)
(K) $200 Rouses Gift Card (approximate retail value of $200)
(L) $200 adidas Hornets Nest Gift Card (approximate retail value of $200)
(M) $200 Gift Card to Besh Steak (approximate retail value of $200)
(N) Two (2) Round Trip Airline Tickets ((approximate retail value of $500)

(BB) One (1) reserved parking spot in Arena Lot 3A, available for use 24 hours per day, 7 days per week from 8/1/11 – 7/31/12 (approximate retail value of $1,700)
(CC) Two (2) Lower Level Season Tickets (in addition to your current) (approximate retail value of $2,938)
(DD) A trip for two (2) to the 2011-2012 NBA All-Star Game in Orlando, including airfare, hotel accommodations and game tickets (approximate retail value of $3,000)

6. Prizes are non-transferable to any other person, including relatives or friends.

7. Winners are solely responsible for all applicable federal, state and local taxes unless otherwise indicated. No substitution, cash equivalent or transfer of prize permitted except at the New Orleans Hornets’ sole discretion for a prize of comparable or greater value.

8. Chances of winning are dependant on number of Entries received prior to each selection date.

9. A list of the winners (containing first name, last initial, and residence city) can be obtained after April 15, 2010, by writing to: “New Orleans Hornets Season Ticket Holder Renewal Contest”, 1250 Poydras, Suite 1900, New Orleans, LA, 70113.

10. By entering, entrant agrees to follow the Official Rules and hold harmless and indemnify the New Orleans Hornets, the NBA Entities and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, owners, employees and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) against any and all liability, damages or causes of action (however named or described), with respect to or arising out of either

i. the Contest, including entrant’s participation and the New Orleans Hornets administration of the Contest; or
ii. the receipt or use of the prizes awarded in the Contest.

11. Contest void where prohibited.

12. As a condition and prior to being awarded a prize, potential winners and his/her companions/guests, if applicable, must execute an affidavit certifying the winner’s age and eligibility and re-affirming the release of the Released Parties from any and all liability arising from, among other things: (i) participation in the Contest; (ii) acceptance and use of the prizes awarded therein; and (iii) the administration of the Contest and distribution of the prizes awarded therein.

By entering the Contest, and whether or not entrant wins a prize in the Contest, each entrant grants to the Released Parties the right to the use of his or her name, likeness or photograph without compensation or further authorization in any publicity or for promotional purposes carried out by the Released Parties. No telephone contact or correspondence will be entered into except with potential prize winners. All travel and hotel accommodations shall be determined by the New Orleans Hornets in its sole discretion. Travel prize winners must be able to travel on the dates and at the times designated by the New Orleans Hornets or such prize will be forfeited and may be awarded to an alternate winner.

The New Orleans Hornets reserve the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value and/or to terminate, modify or withdraw this Contest, in whole or in part (including altering the manner in which the prizes are distributed), at any time, without prior notice for any reason including, but not limited to, the delay or cancellation of the New Orleans Hornets basketball game(s), or, if viruses, bugs, tampering or other causes beyond the New Orleans Hornets’ control affect the administration, security, fairness or proper play or conduct of the Contest. Further, the New Orleans Hornets reserve the right to disqualify any person and void any Entry of that person who it believes has tampered with the entry process or any other component of the Contest, whose conduct or action affects the administration, security or fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Contest, or who fails to meet or abide by the Contest Rules and conditions.

The New Orleans Hornets and Released Parties do not assume any responsibility for tampering, theft, defects, viruses, human errors including negligence, deletions, technical or telephone, computer line, network, server, access providers, computer equipment or software problems, undeliverable messages, computer errors, lost, misdirected, late or incomplete Entries or inaccurate capture of information or any online difficulties that may result in damage or malfunction the computer or the failure of New Orleans Hornets to process any entry and otherwise award any prize. Nor is responsibility assumed for printing errors appearing in these rules or related Contest materials. In addition, the New Orleans Hornets will not assume any responsibility of any nature whatsoever in all cases where their inability to hold the Contest or to remit the prizes to the winners results from a cause beyond the control of the New Orleans Hornets, including acts of God, weather conditions, strike, lock-out or other labor dispute. Any attempt to deliberately damage any website or to undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and should an attempt be made, the New Orleans Hornets reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution.
