Hugo the Hornet Hosts ‘Bug Appetit’ at Insectarium

On Tuesday, Nov. 24, team mascot Hugo the Hornet kicked off his new partnership and friendship with the Audubon Insectarium in New Orleans by serving up a few delectable treats to youngsters, at the Tiny Termite Café. During the “Bug Appetit” event, Hugo treated visitors to several scrumptious insect-related dishes, such as chocolate chirp cookies, cinnamon bug crunch, crispy Cajun crickets and six-legged salsa.
The chocolate chirp cookie recipe included actual crickets, while cinnamon bug crunch consists partly of worms.
