 The New Orleans Hornets Bookmobile, presented by Best Western, is an exciting library-on-wheels that distributes free books to students at local schools and community events in the New Orleans metropolitan area. In support of the NBA’s “Read to Achieve” initiative, the Bookmobile program is an example of the Hornets’ commitment to promoting literacy and education. In the past two seasons, the Bookmobile has distributed more than 90,000 free books and provides a fun, interactive learning environment. The Bookmobile visits students in pre-kindergarten through eighth grade and needs your help to continue reaching out to children in Southeast Louisiana.
