Things are fluid now that the NBA Free Agency period has begun as of July 1, so we thought we'd provide you with weekly power rankings for the offseason. As teams make moves, we move them up and down the ladder on a daily basis.
The 2011-12 regular season and playoff records are shown in parentheses. Draft picks are recognized by the numbers sign (#). Players that re-sign with their own teams are listed in the Keepers category, while players that join and leave respective teams are noted in the Additions or Subtractions sections. Restricted Free Agents--a.k.a. RFA--are listed under Possible Additions or Possible Subtractions, since their former team has the right to match any signed offers by July 14. UFA stands for Unrestricted Free Agents. All free agent signings--which don't become official until July 11--are linked to source stories.
