Denver Versus Goliath

In Episode 1 of the new season of the great NBA TV series "The Association," Denver head coach George Karl gives away his philosophy how the Nuggets would rebuild itself after the Melodrama was done: "Everybody says you're going to have three superstars on three or four teams. Well, I'm not sure Denver's going to be one of those teams. So why should we build on that philosophy? My philosophy is, Why don't we go get a Top 10 player at each position and have a Top 10 bench?"

It's working. Denver is 12-5 so far with the second best record in the West.
